Hutchison Telecommunications Lanka (Private) Limited (“Hutchison Telecom Lanka”) commenced operations in Sri Lanka in 1997 by setting up analogue base stations around the capital city of Colombo. The year 2004 saw the launch of a 100% prepaid service under the brand name Hutch. Over the years, Hutchison Telecom Lanka has expanded its coverage to all major towns in the country. We target to provide the majority of the population with affordable and easily accessible mobile telephony services, together with relevant and suitable value added services.
